Short Description vs Full Description: What Each One Is For
The short description (80 characters) is the only text visible before a user taps into your store listing — it needs to work as a hook, not a feature summary. The full description (up to 4000 characters) is where feature detail, keywords, and social proof actually belong.
A common mistake: cramming keyword lists into the short description where they read as spam, when that space converts better as a single clear value proposition.
The fix
Fix: write your short description last, after your full description is done — it should be the one sentence that made you want to write everything else.
